Update 0.9.18.2
Hey Fighters!
Summer’s packing its bags, autumn has arrived, and Halloween is starting to lurk around the corner.
But the real question is…where has Carnival been all this time?
After what feels like several centuries of waiting, Carnival is finally ready to hit the battlefield! Alongside the long awaited arrival, we’ve got the Paci-5, Jah Shaka, and plenty of Carnival goodies to collect.
Carnival Has Entered the Battlefield
You asked. You begged. You memed. You asked again.
Carnival has been teased, talked about, requested, and locked away for what feels like several geological eras. He’s been one of the most requested characters in our feedback for an absolutely ridiculous amount of time, and somehow, we still kept him locked up. Until now.
Carnival is finally here. The wait is over. The memes can finally retire. The “when Carnival?” questions can finally rest. The character you were starting to believe was nothing more than a mythical creature is now actually playable.
He will be the first fighter capable of wielding TWO primary weapons. That means he can bring Rocket Launchers and Assault Rifles into battle. Because apparently giving the most requested character in SquadBlast access to one primary weapon wasn't dramatic enough.
And then there's his ability. The Heatseeker.
Deploy a drone, let it lock onto the nearest enemy, and watch it chase them down before self-destructing on impact. Once the dust settles, the heatseeker leaves behind some extra pickups to help you recover and get back into the fight.
Introducing the Paci-5
Carnival’s got a new way to deal with unwanted guests. The Paci-5 delivers a powerful electric shock up close, giving anyone who gets in Carnival’s personal space a quick reminder that proximity has consequences.
Zzzap. Problem solved.
Meet Jah Shaka
Another fighter waiting in the wings. There’s still plenty of work to do before we can get him ready, but hopefully it won’t be too long before he’s ready to jump into the fight.
Your Carnival Collection Awaits
Carnival’s Mastery has 30 levels, and each one comes with something to unlock.
Rack up the EXP and collect weaponry, avatars, parcels, currency and more as you climb all the way to the top.
It’s called progression. We call it giving you something else to grind.
