First Gun Upgrades!
Hey Fighters!
Your first guns in SquadBlast are a big step toward finding the playstyle that fits you best. As you unlock stronger weapons and improve your stats in-game, battles start to feel smoother, faster, and way more fun. Doesn’t matter if you like rushing into fights or playing from a distance, trying out different guns helps you learn what works best for you and gives you a better chance to dominate every match.
Let’s check out some solid combinations that work well depending on the fighter and weapon:
Dash: Mule > Haymaker
The Haymaker is the jack of all trades when it comes to shotguns. Big damage, solid knockback, and those ricochet shots that causes further impact.
Pair it with Dash’s supersonic ability, it creates a destructive combination. One second you’re chilling, the next you’re getting blasted by surprise. You couldn’t ask for more in terms of close range combat engagements.
Hantu: Mule > Tyrant + Dazzler Combo
Dazzler to lock them in place, then swap to the Tyrant and just melt them. Hard hitting, fast fire rate, no time to react. Pull it off clean and it’s basically a free GG straight back to the respawn screen. It can be tricky on the odd occasion to hit your opponent with the Dazzler, but when you succeed, you’ll reap the rewards.
Laika: Artemis > Rad Zone
Don't get us wrong, the Artemis is already a solid sniper straight out of the box, but if you're looking to throw a bit of flavour and chaos into the mix, the Rad Zone is your go to!
It's got a ton of great perks you simply can't ignore. High bullet damage, headshot multiplier, and you can contaminate your opponents with a radioactive substance. Just watch yourself though, because it'll infect teammates just as easily as enemies, so make sure you're picking your shots wisely!
Pavvo: Kriegwerk > Freeloader
The Freeloader’s one of the nastiest rocket launchers if you actually put time into it. Sure, the fire rate’s quite slow and there’s no homing to bail you out, but when those rockets land, it hurts.
It’s definitely not a “spray and pray” kinda weapon, you’ve gotta play smart, pick your shots, and really think about positioning. Once it clicks, you’ll be deleting people before they even realise what hit them.
Sonny: Swamp Hog > Shox 33
Shox 33 looks like a support tool at first glance, but it’s a brutal control weapon that deals strong damage while crippling enemy reload and fire rate. Any Sonny enjoyer fully understands that the shock fields stack pressure, and the debuff is brutal, slowing reload, messing with fire rate, and if you max it out, they’re just stuck there stunned until the effect has finished.
If there was ever a Grenade Launcher to pick up in this day and age in the current meta, this is the absolute go to weapon.
Arx: Jager > Homewrecker
The Homewrecker can be an menace on the battlefield if used correctly. Some players will mention that at high level play, it does have it’s difficulties. Once mastered, it can be a fantastic counter against a lot of different compositions. Fire rate is slow on the first 10 shots, afterwards it’s constant with it’s max fire rate.
Nigel: Jager > Liberator
Now pair Nigel with the Liberator and it gets a tad hectic. Nigel’s speed already makes him hard to pin down, and the Liberator adds even more playmaking potential. You’ve got consistent damage, plus angle abuse. Landing them indirectly are super satisfying when you pull it off. It opens up some sneaky angles and lets you play way more unpredictable. Also opens the flood gates of a wide variety of strategies along with it.
Camara > Kewler
Kewler has been a top tier grenade for a while now.. It delivers decent output and freezes your opponent at the same time. The ice shards form this prison like ring, so you'll want to think about where you're throwing it, because map geometry can bust the shards. It works great in most spots across all maps, just watch out for certain choke points and closed off areas.
Camara > Hex-6
The Hex-6 definitely isn’t the easiest grenade to get the hang of, no doubt about that. It takes a bit of practice and good timing to really make it work. No doubt, this is one of the most dangerous grenades in the game. The damage potential is crazy, especially if you catch enemies grouped up or stuck in tight spaces.
It really shines in modes like KotH and Conquest where players tend to bunch up around objectives. If you can predict movement or throw it into contested zones, you can rack up some serious impact and completely swing fights in your favour. High risk, high reward! When it pays off, it really pays off.
Camara > Specht
If you want a sidearm that deal decent damage without messing around with grenades, this one’s a good pick. It just keeps spraying your enemies with small caliber rounds, up close is where it really shines. The mag’s nice and chunky too, and the reload is quick, so you can continue piling on pressure without missing a beat.
